She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Howe and Minnie Howe; her husband Elmer Smith; her son Eldon; her daughter-in-law Rita; and her granddaughter Cheryl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Wright (Gary) of Canton and Jane Skillman of Mason City; and her grandchildren, Angie Harp (Jamey), Jarod Wright (Tracy), Steve Wright (Monica) and Jennifer Bailey (JR). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
