He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hayes and June Hayes (Gibbs); his grandson Josh Clayton; his aunt Virginia Adkins; and his sister Nancy Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Farwell (Jim) of Havana, Bobann Bashaw of Colorado, Lisa Kolves (Dwight) of Havana and Robert Hayes (Renee) of Edwards, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to the local chapter of National Wildlife Turkey Federation, the Spoon River Gobblers in Canton.
