He is survived by: his parent Carlena Thompson, Jr. (Russell) of Havana; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Thompson of Havana; his daughter Allison Pallo (Christopher) of Athens; his granddaughter Claire Pallo; and his brother Bruce Thompson of Virginia, Illinois..

Memorial donations may be made in Ricky's name to St. Jude-Jessie's Team.
