Ricky D. Dye Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricky D. Dye of Havana, Illinois, born in Kilbourne, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Dutch" Dye and Dolores Dye (Holmes); and his brothers, Tony Dye and Dennis Dye. He is survived by: his children, Toni Dye (Josh Budyn) of Havana, Amanda McDaniel (Cole) of Havana and Gabriel Dye of Ansted; his nephew Jonathan Dye (Trisha); his sisters, Marla Lascelles (Vernon) of Havana, Peggy Lascelles (Kenny) of Ipava and Cheryl Dye; his brother-in-law Johnnie Bob Troxell; and his close friend Lenny Thomas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Ricky's name to the American Heart Association.
