He was predeceased by: his siblings, Beulah Lyons and Paul Behrends (Phyllis Behrends); and his niece Christi Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Malone; his children, Tami Davidage (Rick) of Havana, Tony Behrends of Springfield, Tara Behrends of Canton, Teresa Link of Havana and Todd Behrends (Jamie) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Leslie Rivillo (Ken Espejo), James Walker, Jay Behrends (Kristy), Adria Behrends, Morgan Woll (Kris), Annie Link, Allison McGrew (Tyler) and Nia Sanguedolce; his great grandchild Titus Espejo; and his nieces, Carol Breedlove (John) of Manito and Sally Miller (Terry) of Morton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mason County Arts Council or University of Illinois - Mason County 4-H.
