Joanne Lukeman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Lukeman of Havana, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Duncan and Dorothy Duncan (Taylor); her spouse Thomas Lukeman; her brother Bob Duncan; and her children-in-law, Larry Hardwick and Billye Gaye Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Hill (Jean), Diane Hardwick (late Larry), Brad Hill (Debbie) and Connie Lukeman-Alston (Nick); and her grandchildren, Dustin Hardwick (Joy), Dana Bangert (Matt), Katie Grant (Chris), Audrey Seyerle (Franz), Tyler Hill (Candace) and Andrew Hill (Claire). She is also survived by ten great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Per Joanne's wishes, her body has been donated to SIU School of Medicine for research and no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Joanne's name to the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org .
