He was predeceased by: his parents, James Towery and Charlotte Towery (Ogden); his brother Howard Towery; his brother-in-law Ted Bachand; and his niece Sarah Towery.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Towery of Havana; his daughter Jenny Towery; his grandchildren, Carly Hall and Luke Baker; his siblings, Marsha Bachand and Dan Towery (Margie); and his siblings-in-law, Connie Hoffman, John Rosich (Kathy) and Rick Rosich (Leigh Anne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the Sarah Towery Scholarship at the University of Illinois Springfield, Ducks Unlimited, or Mason District Hospital Auxiliary.
