It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ellen Blessman of Havana, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis E Becker and Miriam Becker (Clover); her son Gary K Blessman; her sister Janet Specketer; and her niece Laura Specketer.

She is survived by: her husband Lyman "Don" Blessman; her friends, Janet, Helen, Shirley and Rosemary; and her children, Gail Beard (Rex) of Decatur, IL, Diane McGinnis of Havana, IL and Steve Blessman of Havana, IL. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Havana Public Library.
