With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Vaughn of Havana, Illinois, born in Bath, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vaughn and Bessie Vaughn (Mibbs); and his siblings, Larry, Donnie, Lyle, John Gregory Vaughn, Jean Price, Nudeen Holtmeyer, Kay Stroh, Helen Fletcher, Pat Fletcher and Ginger Bohm.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Fisher; his children, Reginald Vaughn (Sheila White) of Canton, Gregory Vaughn (Stephanie) of Havana and Nancy Scheu (Steve) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Joshua, Cody Vaughn and Shawn Cawthon; and his brother Gale Vaugh (Linda) of Havana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the University of Illinois Hospital for liver transplants.
