He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dean Burgett and Donna Herring Burgett; his stepmother Alberta Burgett; and his siblings, Robert Arlan Burgett, Cathy Sinclair, Melissa Goforth, June Cohee, Randy Burgett and Brenda Burgett-Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Burgett of Havana; his children, James Clifford Burgett Jr. of Bath and Samantha Burgett of Havana; his grandson Memphis Burgett of Havana; and his siblings, Robert Henry Burgett (Teri) of Cuba, Chrissy Sayers (Dave) of Browning, Robin Beard of Forest City, Paula Gilpin of Bath, Amy Dobson (Buddy) of Havana and Becky Black (Terry) of Liverpool. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with his final expenses.
