He is survived by: his children, Tim Oest of Havana and Nancy Blakely (Gary) of Havana; his grandchildren, Aaron Blakely (Laura) of Clinton, Ellen Mibbs (Kevin) of Havana, Anna Oest (Tyler Hodgson) of Petersburg and Kimi Oest (Miya Oakes) of Longmont, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Brittny Lindsey (Ian Hamilton) of Decatur, Skye Mibbs (Casey Guilliams) of Havana, Garrett Mibbs (Haley Gilmore) of Havana, Josie of Clinton and Jace Blakely of Clinton; his great great grandchildren, Kievin of Decatur, Jaxxon of Decatur and River of Decatur; and his brother Robert Oest of Havana.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mason District Hospital, or American Legion Post #138 in Havana.
