He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Schneider of Middleboro; his parents, Gil and Bertha; and his siblings, Mary McKenzie and Walter J Silva.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lorraine Souza, Diane Condon (Tom) and Dennis Silva (Terry); and his children, Daren Silva (Becky) of Havana, Tim Silva (Mary) of Fort Madison, Iowa, Brian Silva of Havana, Mark Silva (Gail) of New Berlin, Illinois and Crystal Ellman (Mike) of Naperville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Gil's name to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
