With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorland Worth Smith of Havana, Illinois, born in La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorland Worth Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorland Smith and Dorothy Smith (Hulce); and his brothers, Irvin D. Smith and William J. D. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Koke; and his children, Lisa Olson (Robert) of Cincinnati, OH, Eric Smith (Lisa) of Grayslake, IL and Lynn Marassa (Michael) of Grayslake, IL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Post #138 in Havana or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana.
