She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Friend and Lieura Friend (Lippert); her former husband Gerald McCoy; her husband Ron Thompson; her brother David; and her grandson Josh McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly McCoy of Havana, Roger McCoy of Lincoln and Brad McCoy (Nance) of Mississippi; her grandchildren, Jenna McGahan of Tusla, Madison Oyer of Bloomington, Garrett McCoy of Virginia Beach and Calvin McCoy (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Gage, Leigh, Colby McGahan and Elija Oyer; her siblings, Earla Blessman and Duane; and her friends, Jacksonville and Arveda Pence of Lincoln.
