In loving memory of Donald E. Oest of Havana, Illinois, born in Mason, Illinois, who departed this world on September 3, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oest and Anabelle Oest (Koehne); and his brothers, John, Vernon, Alvin and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Oest (Angie) of Canton and Daniel Oest of Macomb; his grandchildren, Riley Oest, Kendall Oest and Emily Oest; his sister-in-law Bessie Oest of Lewistown; his friend Jill Oest of Ft. Meyers, Florida; and his close friend Imogene Eilers of Chandlerville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to the Lane A. Evans VA Clinic in Galesburg or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
