He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Shuman and Shirley Shuman (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Janet Powell of Havana; his stepsons, Brian Thoma, Christoper Thoma, Jr. and Matthew Thoma; and his brothers, Christopher Thoma and Fred Shuman.
