He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Burgett and Margaret Burgett (Smith); and his sisters, Mary Fawcett and Rosalyn "Nean" Bridges. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Bishop (Chris) of Havana, DeEtta Martorana (Carl) and David Burgett (April) of Astoria; his grandchildren, Erica Braden (Ray), Savannah and Anabelle Burgett; his great grandchild Hank Braden; his brother Chester L. (Burgett); and his siblings-in-law, Vivian Towery of Havana, David Bridges of North Carolina and Robert Fawcett of Havana.

Memorial donations may be made in Bud's name to Shriners Children's Hospital.
