With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie J Short (Havana, Illinois), who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Short and Clara Short (Sanford); and his grandchildren, Short III and Tracy Berry. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Hartman; his children, Linda Kiestler of Topeka, Melody Wagner of Rockford, IL, Billie "Joe" Short Jr. and Steven Short of San Antonio, TX; and his siblings, Thomas Short of Tennessee, Donnie Short of Kentucky, Linda Whitten of East Peoria and Dana Perdue (Harold) of East Peoria. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
