She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sires and Lena Sires (Hahn); her husband Albert Pokorny; and her siblings, Goldie Rocksvold, Pearl Ehde, Sylvia May, Opal Britain, James Sires, Sardius Sires, Roy T. Sires and Emerald Grahlman.
She is survived by: her friend Jerry Neteler; her sons, Reggie (Debra), Joe (Susie), Rick (Amanda) and Dan (Brenda); and her grandsons, Reggie Pokorny, Patrick Pokorny (Melissa), Tom Pokorny and Brock Pokorny. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
