It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashton M. Fernetti (Havana, Illinois), born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Marguerite "Susie" Fernetti; his great-grandparents, Otto and Beulah Belle Ganther; and his cousin Drew Ganther. He is survived by: his parents, Bob Fernetti and Sara Fernetti (Ganther); his siblings, Elijah Fernetti of Pekin, Miles Fernetti of Havana, Carter Jones of Havana and Erica Jones of Havana; his grandparents, Jodi, Mike Stout of Havana, Duane, Sandy Ganther of East Moline, IL, Rhonda, Spencer Jones of Havana, Carl, Luan Fernetti of Bryant, IL and Cheryl Leeds of Canton; and his great-grandparents, Henry and Ellen Cox of Havana. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Havana High School Baseball or to the Havana National Bank where a memorial fund has been started.
