We bid farewell to Rosa Maria Volpe of Harwood Heights, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Rosa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Luigi; her daughter Angela Margiolas (late George); and her sister Janina Iannessa (late Aldo). She is survived by: her children, Silvera, Joseph (Barbara) and John (Annette); her grandchildren, John, Steve (Adriana), Adam (Anna), Brandon (Heather), Justin (Nicole), Max, Stephanie (Gabe) and Sam; her great grandchildren, Steven, Lilly, Madeline, Luigi, Salvatore and Joise; and her siblings, Teresa Falco (late Rocco) and Luigina Iaccino (late Ugo).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Monica Church (5136 N Nottingham Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
