He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jean M.; his children, Leo Kawczinski Jr. (Lisa), Marie Alesia, Julie A. Kawczinski and Michael J. Kawczinski; and his grandchildren, Mark Alesia and Kim Kawczinski.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at the St. Rosalie Catholic Church (6750 W Montrose Ave, Harwood Heights, IL 60706).
