He was predeceased by: his wife Benita Rios; his children, Rierrma Rios and Ramiro Rios Jr.; and his parents, Cruz Rios and Matilde Martinez Rios.

He is survived by: his significant other Maria Morales; his children, Rosario Ornelas (Noe), Maria Rios, Ramon Rios (Mary), Raquel Rios, Monica Rios and Diane Rios; and his nephew Javier Juarez. He is also survived by many other family members, especially Maria's six children, and friends.
