He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Matteson and Thelma Matteson; his sisters, Edwina, Lucille and Beatrice; his son-in-law Bryce Parker; and his grandson Bryce Parker Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Helen Matteson, Mary Matteson, Sharon Parker, Mark Matteson, Tim Matteson (Cyndi), Steve Matteson (Pam), Peg Matteson (Mark Freiman), Rachel Heaver (Jason) and Dan Matteson; and his friends, Don and Shirley Blazer. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
