He was predeceased by: his parents, Pambo "Gene" Henning and Elizabeth Henning (Wheatley); his sons, Daniel and Jeffery; his grandsons, Andrew and Timothy Vermett; his great grandchild Lukas Parsek; and his siblings, Paul, Frank, Harry, James, Victor, Harold, Mary, Sr., Laura, Lena and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine P. Henning (Alexander); his children, Harold Henning (Mary), Harvard, Ralph Henning (Susan), Timberlane, Catherine Slobodnik (Francis) of Topeka, KS, William Henning (Theresa) of Norwood, MO, Mary Henning, Judy Rimkus, Wayne Henning of Clinton, WI, Kevin Henning (Kim), Janice Pribble (Darrell), Bridget Vermett (Vince) and Marcia Moellring (David); and his sister-in-law Lillian Henning of Hardinsburg, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Harvard where Carroll was a member for 60 years or to CURE Childhood Cancer in Atlanta, GA.
