She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Rao and Ida Rao (Perri); her husband John Powers; her children, Phalynn Powers of New Orleans, LA, John Paul Powers of Franklin, TN and Richard Powers (Kristi) of Bondurant, IA; her grandchildren, Kennedy Powers, Theiss Sagues, Elizabeth Powers, Olivia Powers, Brody Sagues, John Powers and Erin Powers; and her siblings, June Termini (John) of MacLean, VA, Paul Rao (Martina), Frank Rao (Suzanne) of Pittsburgh, PA, David Rao (Mary Ann) of Elkins, WV and Joe Rao (Helen) of Philadelphia, PA..
Due to the pandemic, a private memorial service will be held, followed by burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Harvard.
