He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schumer and Margaret Schumer (Nepper); his siblings, Joseph, Ann (Maloney), Michael, Robert, Gertrude and Florence (Coet); and his nieces and nephews, Larry, Bobby Jr., Karen (Scimeca) and Kathy Clementis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Fitzharris; his children, Susanne Boettcher of Walworth, WI and Kenneth (Tammy) of Kettering, OH; his grandchildren, Jennea Boettcher, Tabitha, Tyler and Jordan Schumer; his son-in-law John Boettcher; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Schumer, Bonnie Clements and Nancy Powers.
