He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Peterson and Linnea Peterson (Hultgren); his brother Carl; and his brothers-in-law, George Spoerlein and Dale Carlson.
He is survived by: his son Russ (Becky) of Walworth, WI; his wife Jan; his daughter Sandee Luteyn (John) of Fond; his grandchildren, Kristin (Aaron), Rachel (Dustin), Brittany (Zach), Brian, Bryce, Trent, Michael (Jenni) and Aaron (Maddie); his sister Carol Spoerlein; and his sister-in-law Mary Peterson. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
