He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Kinney and Myrna Kinney (Doehring); and his son Steven. He is survived by: his siblings, Doris (Shourd), Melvin, JoAnn (Schaafsma) and Gary; his wife Karen Kinney; his children, Eric Kinney and Melinda Schuldt (Alistair); and his grandchildren, Ian and Nina Schuldt. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, Harvard, Illinois.
