He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall R. Sr. Sergeant and Dorothy Sergeant; his daughter Kawana Kay; his sister Margaret Sergeant; his brother-in-law Bud Standish; his son-in-law Kevin Fluger; and his nephews, Daniel and Jacob Sergeant.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Harvard; his daughters, Tina Sergeant of Harvard and Tammy Fluger of Marengo; and his siblings, Ann Thompson (Bob) of Belvidere, William Sergeant (Sue) of Hebron and Charlie Sergeant (Debbie) of Woodstock. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
