With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Elena Castanon Esparza (Harvard, Illinois), who passed away on October 3, 2019 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Castanon and Dolores Castanon (Barrlos); and her son-in-law Raul Gomez. She is survived by: her husband Salvador Esparza of Harvard; her daughters, Mayra Douich (Taoufik) and Grace E. Gomez; her granddaughter Laura Gomez; and her godson Victor Gonzalez.
