He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Dowey and Marion Dowey (Van Fleet). He is survived by: his sister Patricia Miro (Bob); his nieces, Megan Miro (Keith Parker) and Jessica Miro; and his great-nephew Jayden Parker.
