He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stauss and Ethel Stauss (Valiant); his wife Vimy Stauss; and his brother James Stauss. He is survived by: his sons, John Stauss (Rachel) of West Dundee, Joel Stauss (Dawn) of Hebron and Soren Stauss of Chicago; his grandchildren, Carissa Vazquez (Mike), Austin Stauss, Isabella Stauss and Jake Stauss; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Tracy Langeslay of Santa Barbara, CA.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
