He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Port Allen of Louisiana; his wife Beth Allain; his daughters, Kate Suzanne (Frank McNichols) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Lucy and Patrick McNichols; and his sister Anita Achee.
