He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Bendorf; his children, Adam Bendorf (Anna) of Idaho and Katie Chivari (Paul) of Harvard; and his siblings, Ervin Bendorf (Joan), Edward Bendorf (Judy) and Gwendolyn Stauffacher (Richard).
