He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rudolph Cross and Pearl Cross (Goodpastor); his wife Georgene Leesman; his sons, Gary Cross (Janet) of Emden, Tom Cross (Kay) of Clinton and Rick Cross (Cathy) of Minier; and his grandchildren, Angie, Doug, Brad, Stacy, Ryan, David, Tony, Dustin and Brent. He was also cherished by his fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Wendell's name to St. John's Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
