He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ubbenga and Rena Ubbenga (Klockenga); and his brothers, George and Leo. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Suey; his children, Debra Bates (Eric) of Towanda, IL, Nelson Ubbenga of San Diego, CA and Kevin Ubbenga (Gail) of Hartsburg, IL; his grandchildren, Krista Swanson (Brett) of Oneida, IL, Scott Ubbenga (Sarah) of Normal, IL and Kelsi Meeker (Robby) of Delevan, IL; his great grandchildren, Bianca, Karina, Susana Swanson and Jackson Ubbenga; and his sister Catherine Apel of Atlanta, IL..
