He is survived by: his son Virgil Ellis, Jr. (Marcy) of Hartford, IL; his stepsons, Steven Pullen of Doniphan, Eddie Murphey of St. Louis, MO and Shawn Murphey (Jeanetta) of Fenton, MO; his sisters, Vivian Nelson Ehlers of Percy, IL, Juanita Fitzgerald of Doniphan, Mildred Farrow of Doniphan and Brenda Pruitt of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, Cody Ellis, Nicolas Ellis, Jordan, Amber Murphey, Shawn and Dawson Murphey.
