He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Rose and Alta Rose (Robinson); and his sisters, Alene and Sylvia Lorene Butler (Rose). He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Rose (Hamp); his daughters, Valerie Mitchell (Tim Mitchell) and Vickie Ann Rose; his great grandchildren, Anna, Olivia Cossey, Elizabeth Louise Woolard and Natalie Grace Smith; his nieces, Delores Sandefur (Butler) and Helois Wooldridge (Butler); and his nephew Donald Wayne Butler.
He was a resident at Shawnee Rose Care Center and a victim of COVID-19.
