He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lee and Eva Mae Carlton (Thomas); and his wife Sheila Farley. He is survived by: his son Daniel Carlton (Jessica) of Brighton; his grandson Zaylyn Rapp; and his siblings, John Carlton (Susan) of Rockdale, Illinois and Janice Agin (Buck) of Harrisburg, Illinois. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
