She was predeceased by: her son Howard Lee Abney; her mother Martha Rodgers; her birth father William Myers; her stepfather Melvin Rodgers; and her siblings, Norma Amacker, Ules and Lloyd Myers.
She is survived by: her spouse Stobert Brown Abney; her children, Stobert L. Abney (Ruth) of Harrisburg, IL and Frances Anderson (Rodney) of Woodbury, MN; her grandchildren, Howard, Darren, Erika, Jami, Richard and Andrea; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Kelsey, Brooke, Micheal and Dylan; her great great grandchildren, Silas, Gage, Holland and Oliver; her sister Delilah Dyer of Waynesville, MO; and her friend Anna Wilcox. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to March of Dimes and envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
