He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Perkins and Thelma Perkins (Lands); his wife Jane Reed; his children, Shannon Perkins (Angie) of Harrisburg, Illinois and Ellen Sprinkle (Brett) of Evansville, Indiana; and his grandsons, Zachary Perkins (Hannah) of Alexandria, Garrett Sprinkle and Jalen Sprinkle of Evansville, Indiana..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund or McKinley Avenue Baptist Church Youth Group.
