As Tabita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tabita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tabita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Margarita Afanado-Medero; her grandmother Trinidad Afanador; and her nephew Jonathan Valentin. She is survived by: her father Antonio Afanado-Medero; and her siblings, Maria Elena Valentin, Marian Medero, Patricia Hernandez and Nelson Medero.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery (701-899 Brennon Dr, Harrisburg, IL 62946).
