She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Burnett Brantley and Imogene Devova Brantley (Lane); her brother Arthur Brantley; and her parents-in-law, Jesse and Louise Cavender.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Cavender; her children, Todd Cavender (Michelle) and Amy Buchanan (Chris); her grandchildren, Jenny, Jesse Buchanan, Kody and Kyle Cavender; her siblings, Leonard Brantley (Janice) and Matilda Grisham (Jack); and her brother-in-law Charlie Cavender (Carol). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home, Inc. (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
