He was predeceased by: his parents, Brosia Greer and Esther Greer (Kimbrough); his son Gary; and his sister Lucille Robinson Cook. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lewis; his daughter Kim Brasher (Benny); his sister Janette Leberman; his stepchildren, Bob Ziegler (Brenda) and Kathy Johnson (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Josh Greer (Heather), Melissa Cossey, Shawn Brasher (Shana), Kelli Jo Morris (Joshua), Kyle Brasher (Shawna), Brian Ziegler (Karly), Brad Ziegler (Rachel), Brooke Sterns (Josh), Leann Miller (Ron), Kerry Taborn (Dean Jr.), Julie Gott (Jerod), Jenna Jones (Dustin) and Jessica Moss (Caleb). He is also survived by 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Roy's honor to Hospice of Southern Illinois Blue East Team, or Carmi Baptist Children's Home.
