She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Douglas and Mary Gates Alvey; and her husband Claude F. Hargrave. She is survived by: her children, Richard Hargrave of Harrisburg, Illinois. and Angie Underwood of Harrisburg, Illinois.; her siblings, Louie Douglas of Harrisburg, Stanley Douglas of Harrisburg, Illinois., Joann Vinyard of Harrisburg and Carolyn Collins of Marion, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Paige Lewis, Courtney Hish, Lacee Upchurch and Denessa Wiseman; her great grandchildren, Carley Lewis, Keely Upchurch, Cheney Upchurch, Ava Hish, Johannah Hish, Talynn Hish and Walker Hish; and her son-in-law David Underwood.
