It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Oxford of Harrisburg, Illinois, born in Hardin, Illinois, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Oxford and Phebe Oxford (Hall); his wife Barbara Ann Wasson; his daughter Victoria Lynn Oxford; his grandson William Everett Siemsglusz; his siblings, Eugene Oxford, Dorothy Harvey, Imogene Cox, Dorla Barnard, Norma Rose and Gordon Oxford; his stepfather Ezra Ledbetter; and his cousin Randall "Buck" Oxford.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Roberson (Sidney) of Harrisburg, Mary Siemsglusz (Walter) of Belleville, Cheryl Oxford of Harrisburg and Robert "Bo" Oxford (Pamela) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Victoria Mitchell (Paul Roberson), Jillian Burroughs (Whitney Vaughn), Westin Siemsglusz (Walter 'Trey" Siemsglusz III), Joshua Gibbs (Krystal Pankey), Kimberly Gibbs (Jake Gibbs), Robert Keith Patterson (Adam Jordan Smith) and Ryan Oxford (Kayla Dawn Oxford).
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or Hospice of Southern Illinois and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
