He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Vargo and Doris Vargo (Mullinix); his grandparents, Leslie, Pearl Mullinix, Paul and Eva Vargo; his aunt Judy Smith; his uncle Jack Mullinix; his father-in-law Bob Simpson; his brother-in-law J. B. Henshaw; his nephew Blake Stevens; and his niece Natalie Simpson.
He is survived by: his spouse Robbie Vargo (Simpson); his friend Robbie; his sons, Eric Vargo of Henderson, KY and Adam Vargo of Harrisburg; his granddaughter Addison Mae Vargo of Harrisburg; his brother Marc Vargo (Michael Walker) of Hammond, LA; his cousins, David, Janet Smith, Tim, Kate Smith, Gloria Willoughby and Leslie Mullinix; his mother-in-law Opal Simpson; his brothers, Kim Henshaw, Gary (Val Simpson), Jeff Simpson and Greg (Patti Simpson); his nieces and nephews, Chris Hyers, Garrick Simpson, Rachel Pauls, Ryan Gullett, Allie Stevens, Preston Simpson, Nathan Simpson and Landon Simpson; and his close friends, Maisie and Lola.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis CARE No Kill Shelter in Murphysboro, IL and First United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the church.
