It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Grounds (Harrisburg, Illinois), born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ira and Loretta Grounds (Grimes); his spouse Kim Baer; and his daughter Michaella Grounds. He is survived by: his son Brian Jump of Owensboro, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dezerae Smith of Tell City, Indiana, Addyson Cockrum of Oakridge, Tennessee, Keylee Smith of Rockport, Indiana, Cooper Givens of Ridgway, Illinois, Kale Smith of Rockport, Indiana, Jacob Jump of Owensboro, Kentucky, Cameron Castros of Carbondale, Illinois, Ella Fowler of Benton, Illinois and Ansen Havener of Rockport, Indiana; and his brother Alan Grounds of Harrisburg, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
