She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Durant and Mary Durant (Hazley); and her siblings, Flora Kumer, Bob Durant, Joseph Durant and Velma "Toots" Harbison.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Gholson; her sons, Bill Gholson Jr. (Susie) of Harrisburg, Illinois and Joe Gholson (Cindy) of Harrisburg, Illinois; her grandchildren, Matt Gholson (Shauna) of Benton, Illinois, Mike Gholson (Teresa) of Harrisburg, Illinois, Joe Gholson (Le) of San Jose, California and Brittany Yaworski (Andrew) of Tacoma, Washington; and her great grandchildren, Miley, Charlotte, Lily, Lucas, Mariemma and Abby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
